EOQ
European
Organization for Quality.
The European Organization for Quality, EOQ, is an autonomous, non-profit
making association under Belgian law.
The EOQ is the European interdisciplinary organization striving for effective
improvement in the sphere of quality management as the coordinating body
and catalyst of its Full Member Organizations (FMOs).
The EOQ was established in 1956 and
its present membership is comprised of 34 national European quality organizations,
as well as institutions, companies and individuals from all over the world.
Transfer of Know-How with the EOQs
Personnel Registration Scheme, improving the levels of competence in quality
techniques have been registered so far. Networking of experts in the EOQs
Full Member Organizations, Activy Groups and the training program on quality
matters for senior government officials, conceived by EOQ on behalf of
the European Commissions DGIII for Industry. Exchange of Know-How with the EOQ
Annual Congress bringing together over 900 people from all over the world Dissemination of quality culture each
year in the framework of the European Quality Week. The EOQ is responsible
for the organization of this event.
Promotion of advanced quality techniques throught the Annual Forum (e.g.:
management breakthrough, benchmarking, etc.) Development of quality in small and
medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) by means of the European Quality Award
for SMEs, founded by the EOQ, the European Foundation for Quality Management

Diffusion
of best practices via the EOQs high-level journal European Quality.
