Exeption
Letter.
EXEMPTION LETTER is a document issued by an accredited
gost r agency that confirms, that this product is not a subject
to the obligatory certification of conformity.
The Exemption Letter is issued on a blank, sealed by the certifying
organ.
The Exemption Letter is required when the question
of the category (by which code of OKP or TN VED) of the product
does not have a clear answer. This question might arise in controlling
entities -Federal Customs Agency and others, and also it can be
made by your customers that demand the Ñertificate of Conformity
of GOST-R for your product .
There are 2 types of Exemption
Letter with a difference in address and purpose.
The Exemption Letter for trade is designated to
the Solicitor (director of the company who required the letter)
and could be issued by any certifying body.
The Exemption Letter for customs service is addressing
the Head of the State Customs Agency of the Russian Federation (GTS
RF). There must be the information about the contract and invoice
data, according to which this product is exported to the Russian
Federation. To prevent their falsification, the Exemption Letters
for customs service are protected by the small holographic
sticker.
It takes from 2 to 5 days to obatain the Exemption
Letter.
